This is not finalised, but we are aiming for a minimum of 20 miles (32km).

An hour of runtime under 'normal' circumstances is the goal.

Are you going to make an alternative gas version? Because there aren't many people willing to pay more than a dirt-bike for such little run time, I don't know anyone that would, except for your average go green millionaire! I would need four changeable batteries!

    Hi,

So, the short answer is that it's not on the radar right now ... sorry. To give some explanation as to why, we need to go into some detail. There are 2 issues. One is that the power to weight of a 4 stroke is very poor in comparison to a 2 stroke which are just about illegal in California already and headed that way for the rest of the US. The second is that building a combustion engine version would require us to re-design the drive train. In a solely combustion engine vehicle, a mechanical drive train from a fixed point to an articulating end point is very difficult to make light weight and reliable ... take our word for it.

We have discussed a 'hybrid' where the batteries would be replaced by a small 4 stroke driving a generator (there are other examples of this around) but this is a future project if at all.

What we want to do is get the full electric version on the market and get it right, then look at product variations from there.

Thanks for the question and feedback.

    Cheers,

No problem, always feel free to ask us anything ... can't guarantee we can always answer but there are about 5 man years of tier 1 automotive level engineering in the release design so chances are we've at least thought about whatever's on your mind.

    Thanks!

    Cheers,
