Weight...

How heavy is this thing (Roughly) gonna be? Light enough to pick up and walk around with?

Hi Zdecent,

Thanks for your question.

Given the four stroke engine (which are double the weight of an equivalent 2 stroke), it's not going to be able to be thrown around.

The goal is that (worst case) you (and the friend you are riding with) would be able to comfortably lift an end each and put it into a car trunk (or boot ... depending on where you are in the world).

We are still working through engineering detail which includes weight optimisation ... however, we will make sure it is rock solid and reliable first, and light as a feather second!

Regards,

I'd like to put a vote of support towards an ultra lightweight model. Ideally, and I imagine this could be a stretch, I'd like to be able to strap this machine on my back and walk around fairly comfortably.

Thanks for the comment ... we are really consious of the weight but it's a balancing act.

Robustness and power (and compliance) verses weight. They are unfortunately quite closely related.

There will untimately be several models and a lightweight version is a possibility.

Thanks for the comment!
